October is in full swing here in Noboribetsu Onsen and in preparation for Kanpukai. The word Kanpukai (\u89b3\u6953\u4f1a) consists of \u89b3 (view) , \u6953 (autumn leaves) and \u4f1a (group event), and is our Hokkaido expression for autumn leaf viewing parties. Because these usually include onsen stays, Hokkai Ideyu Daiko, Dai-ichi Takimotokan\u2019s very own taiko group, will offer several lively performances!<\/p>\n

Founded 35 years ago, Hokkai Ideyu Daiko is a designated folk cultural property of Noboribetsu City. The original group, however, dissolved. The current version, some of whom are Dai-ichi Takimotokan employees and people who have a connection with Noboribetsu, began in 1998. Their performances pulse with the energy and vibrancy of skilled musicians. Many of our guests plan their stay<\/a> with us each year to hear them play.<\/p>\n

Please join us for Kanpukai, some delicious sake, and a delicious Autumn Fair<\/a> all while enjoying the stunning performance of Hokkai Ideyu Daiko. Arrive a little early to make sure you get a spot with a good view of the drummers. You don\u2019t want to miss it!<\/p>\n

**Please note that the performance time and location for Saturday, November 16 has been changed. The performance will take place from 20:10 until 20:30 on the 4th Floor of the Main Building, Room Ideyu.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
