Because of the remodeling work, we now have a large wall in our hotel. We decided to make good use of it, and so a memorial video in commemoration of the 160th anniversary of Dai-ichi Takimotokan\u2019s founding is projected there.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2475\" src=\"http:\/\/www.takimotokan.co.jp\/english\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/TakimotoMarch2018RemodelScreen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The video looks back on Dai-ichi Takimotokan\u2019s history with many photographs from years past. The first and oldest image shows a building very different from the one we have now. Guests often wonder if it can possibly be the same place! As the images progress, viewers get a real sense of the history of this place and how it has changed over time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2476\" src=\"http:\/\/www.takimotokan.co.jp\/english\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/TakimotoMarch2018DemonKingHotel.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also show an image of the new room in our East Building, which is being remodeled. Construction is currently underway to make these stylish rooms.
