We are so pleased you enjoy it!<\/p>\n<p>We will continue this year to provide information about our facilities, services and special events to ensure the best visit possible. Please visit our blog throughout 2017 to stay up to date.<\/p>\n<p>The first day of 2017 greeted Noboribetsu Onsen with wonderful weather and a very calm day. As always, our guests were able to relax and enjoy welcoming the New Year without having to worry about the snow.<\/p>\n<p>During the first two days of 2017, we celebrated with some wonderful events showcasing Japanese culture and style:<\/p>\n<p>Hatsugama (First Tea Ceremony) by Teacher Minami Soya<br \/>\nOtoso (Special Spiced Sake) for good health<br \/>\nShishimai Kadoduke (Lion Dance Ceremony) for good luck<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1784\" src=\"http:\/\/www.takimotokan.co.jp\/english\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/TakimotokanNewYear2017DragonDance.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The photo above shows the exciting and dramatic \u201cLion Dance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In this traditional ceremony, if the Lion bites your head, nothing bad will happen to you for the rest of the year!
