Six-meter tall Enma-shaped floats and elaborate one ton mikoshi (portable shrines) dedicated to the Hell King are carried around the town surrounded by dancing ogres. Devil mask wearing dancers perform in honor of Enma&#8217;s visit while a colorful fireworks show bids him farewell on the final night. Other local forms of folk entertainment are also performed during this festival.<\/p>\n<p>Take a look at the schedule of events below and head out to explore and enjoy this spectacular two-day event.
